Boudoir Marathon

OH MY GOODNESS... MY BOUDOIR MARATHON WAS SO FUN!

These ladies were awesome. I couldn't have asked for two more fantastic women for my first Boudoir Marathon. They were both so much fun and so open to all my crazy ideas.

soft and beautiful

how sassy is this! Love it!

I just absolutely love Kody's Smile here, and her eyes, you can see the smile in them too...this image makes me feel so peaceful and happy.

Athena... your eyes... whoa... Every time I look at this image I feel like you could read my thoughts! Intense!

Everyone is going to think you are so serious from these photos... I feel the need to tell them it was work to get you to be serious! Your smile is infectious. Ü

It was only a marathon of two... but by the time I was done, I felt exhausted. This was definitely a good number for my first one. I learned a lot! Next time (which is seeming like it may be the end of June or early July) I have a lot of new ideas to implement! Be looking for more information to come out soon!!!

I have only shared a few images on my blog... the ones that are the most family friendly. If you are interested in seeing more, let me know and I will happily share more with you! And don't forget to leave comments so I know you are reading!

Thanks so much to Kody & Athena for being so amazingly RAD! Ü I think I had as much fun as you did!!!

Kaitlyn

What a session! Kaitlyn was so much fun to photograph. I think we actually hit the two hour mark on this session. WHOA! She was fun, then serious, then America's next top model... this girl was workin' it!

Kaitlyn is going to attend UW next year! Go Huskies! (I will state for the record that I am equal opportunity in the UW v WSU battle, so don't think I am taking sides here! Ü)

This year Kaitlyn served on ASB as the secretary...any plans for holding office in college?

I had so much fun photographing Kaitlyn that I am hoping before she runs off to Seattle for school in the fall that we can get together again and have a prom dress photo shoot! Anyone interested in joining in just for fun?!?!

There is something I love about this image... but I can't quite put my finger on exactly what makes me love it so much. Tranquility, maybe that's it?

SO SASSY! LOVE IT! You go girl!

Quite possibly my favorite image (tied with about 7 others! Ü) I love her smile in this photograph. SO Genuine!
Eyes to die for! Doesn't this image captivate you?!? Well it captivates me, I love it!

If you know any 2009 seniors who still haven't gotten their portraits taken... let them know NOW is the time! The weather is beautiful and why not commemorate one of the most important rites of passage in your life?!? It only happens once... and I speak from experience... I have always regretted not having professional senior portraits taken. Call me today to book your appointment... there's still enough time to get portraits before the end of school!

Melissa

This is Melissa... She is graduating this year... in no time at all high school will be over and she will be on her way to Evergreen college.

Melissa and I met at Starbucks for her to see her photographs and it was nice to sit and chat. I found out some neat stuff about her!

This year she attended her first Mariner's game and just absolutely loved it!

Melissa is a part of Track & Field at her school, however she stressed heavily that she does NOT run! hee hee... me either! You'll find Melissa tossing a Discuss and kickin butt at the Shot put.

I had fun with Melissa and her brother who was awesome and came to help out with her session. (It's amazing what a little bribery can do amongst siblings!)

Go and do great things! I can see it in you. The world is waiting for you...

Thanks for being such a sweetheart!

Kaylin is 4!

My niece is FOUR today. What? How did this happen? Why do years go by so quickly? I mean seriously FOUR YEARS??!?!? Who authorized this? Ü

Our session was on Saturday which was not very cooperative weather wise. So, I decided to make lemonade out of the rain. Ü I told my sister... Bring Boots and an umbrella... I have a plan! I am so glad we didn't let the rain ruin our morning. I LOVE the way these photos came out!!!

Walkin in the rain on the beach...footprints in the sand! Love it!

Does it get any cuter than this? She is such a doll!

Kaylin is a collector... like her Mimi (Grandma). Everywhere we go she is finding treasures. I just love how she is showing off her finds...and you can see the joy in her eyes!

Only one word necessary: Yum!

The ladies in my family LOVE bubble wrap. There is just something so wonderful about the snap of the bubble. Bubble wrap calls to me. If it is in the house... I feel I must pop it! I had such a hard time saving this bubble wrap for Kaylin's session. I thought it would be fun, but also so appropriate that we photograph the fun that can be had with one of the most simplest of joys in the world!

When I saw this in the camera I just about fell over. This is SO Kaylin! It is her genuine smile. It is really hard to get. She is always so silly willy or she is picking up treasures or she is just too busy playing to be bothered with being photographed... so I am so excited about this photo. I love it so much.
Happy Birthday My beautiful Niece!
