Noah is 1!

Mister Noah bo Boah is 1! I can't believe it. It really puts time in perspective when you watch a child grow! Especially a cutie like this guy! We started out with the cake, wondering what his reaction would be... OH BOY! He loved it! He is a pro cake demolisher! Ü He absolutely loved digging into that cake. (Isn't it a cute cake too!)

I just love the coy look on his face in this first photo... I can just hear his little devious thoughts!

Funny story about the mohawk... apparently dad did not consult mom about cutting Noah's hair and Mom was quite surprised by the hairdo with photos coming up. Well she didn't worry about it too much and I think it is adorable. I would have absolutely loved if we could have found a leather jacket to photograph him in. Maybe next time! I think he looks like a cupie doll in this photo!

It's hard to tell, but he is blowing bubbles in this photo... omg... so cute! I love his little lips all pursed up like that... it just makes me think of a little ducky for some reason. He's just so flippin cute!

A natural nudie! Ü I have a feeling this handsome devil is going to be one of my best subjects. He is a little ham... and we'll get him so used to the camera, he'll be sad when it isn't around! Ü

How quickly time flies, and how precious life is. Don't let the moments slip away, no matter what age you are. It is so important to create those memories through photography!
Side note... Is anyone else excited that the snow is falling today? It is so beautiful! Ü
ta ta for now.

Avery & Tami

Another session from back in the early fall... This is my photographer friend Tami and her ever growing popular daughter Avery. I say she is popular because she seems to have been photographed by almost every photographer I know! Ü

Tami is an inspirational woman and I truly admire her business sense, her determination and her drive! Tami, you rock! I mean seriously... you ROCK!

Avery is such a doll and is so happy to put up with us photographing her! Ü She is definitely a super model!

You can see this photo on my new "contact me" page on my website... isn't it adorable... and perfect for that! If you haven't seen my new website... chiggity check it out... fo sho! Ü I am in a silly mood, can you tell?

I adore this photograph. It makes me laugh every time I look at it! Oh the faces little ones make!

Avery, you are such a doll, I can't wait to watch you grow up. You are certain to be one of the world's most photographed people!

As I am writing this blog, I am listening to a musician that I was just introduced to named Amy Seeley. And I am digging it. A couple of my girlfriends met her at a conference last year and apparently she is going to be playing at my friend Willow's new studio in a few weeks! How cool.
Anyway, I hope your day is fantastic, productive and that your weekend is here sooner than you expected!
Thanks for reading!

Samantha is One!

I have been blessed with beautiful babies!

This is the second of 3 babies within a month that turned 1 that I get to photograph!

Samantha as you may recall is my niece. Cole is my brother and Amanda is my sister in law! I am so happy that I get to photograph the three of you. I always have fun.

Her new feather boa was adorable on her... she however just thought it was itchy! Ü

The beautiful happy Family! Isn't Sam funny with her tongue sticking out.

Sam wanted absolutely nothing to do with diving into that cake. She didn't like it on her birthday and she didn't like it here at this session. She was ok with being proper and polite and taking small bites, but we were hoping for a great big mess!!! Well apparently she didn't want to get dirty! I absolutely hated getting my hands and feet dirty when I was a kid. Come to find out... so did my brother! Hmmmm... it runs in the family! Ü It was neat to learn that little tidbit! Ü
The best part was that the cake was still in great condition, so we all enjoyed a slice after the session! Super sweet! Ü

Mister Max

This session was way back in September! Max's mommy Maren works with my mommy. Maren is a super talented groovy chick and I asked miss Maren if she would consider a trade. So I took these photographs and she made me some tutus and fairy wings. (Be watching, I am sure you will see them start to pop up in photos!)

Max is definitely an adventurous boy. He is full of energy and has a great imagination. At one point he was a hatching dinosaur! Ü And I even caught him hatching from his shell!

Isn't he just adorable! Thanks Maren! Your son is such a cutie patootie!
