Boudoir Marathon - May 11th

Hi Everyone! I am so very excited to announce that I am having a Boudoir Marathon!

What in the world is it? No it doesn't involve running... trust me... I wouldn't be doing it if it did! Ü

Boudoir photographs are intimate and romantic images of women commonly wearing lingerie. Boudoir is a French term that refers to the bedroom, which is the general setting for these photographs. I specialize in tasteful images which are classy, beautiful, flirty and modern.

Who gets boudoir photographs taken? Anyone who wants beautiful portraits of themselves or to give as a gift to someone special! Commonly these portraits are given as Valentine’s gifts, from a bride to her husband on their wedding day or as a gift from a wife to her husband serving overseas in the military. Other great occasions are anniversaries, milestone birthdays, and weight loss or just because you want to appreciate the skin you’re in!

A boudoir Marathon is an event where multiple boudoir sessions are photographed on the same day in the same location. By doing several in one day I am able to offer a fantastic venue at a great price. Sessions include hair and makeup by a trained professional.

Many people are often nervous about boudoir portraiture… but by the end of their session they can’t believe how much fun they had! If you are interested, but hesitant, give me a call. We’ll talk about how you can have a wonderful time and love the resulting images!

I only have 3 spots open for May 11th. Contact me right away if you are interested!

Kelli and Casey's Wedding

In February I assisted another photographer with Kelli & Kacey's wedding. They are just the coolest! And it turns out that I went to school with Kelli's sister! It is such a small world!

This day in February was possibly the nicest February day in history. The weather was FAN - TASTIC! The sun was out... in fact I had to take my jacket off because I got to hot and then I was still warm!
Kelli and Kacey are so photogenic and totally up for anything! It was an absolute pleasure photographing thier wedding day!
Looking forward to this year's wedding season to kick off!

Jacqulyn's Senior Session

OMG... I had so much fun photographing Jacqulyn. She lives out in the boonies (says the city girl) and I love it! It is so much more relaxed out there... in a city where you don't have to lock your car doors and you just leave your keys on the seat.

Jacqulyn brought her awesome friend Emily... who I blogged about here... http://angiedphotography.blogspot.com/2008/12/how-quickly-time-passes.html

Jac, Emily and I laughed a lot. I love photographing seniors. I connect with them. I still feel like I am that silly 18 year old... just with a 32 year old body and all the bills and responsibility that go with it! :)

The funniest part of our session was the kitty who came to visit us. I was just about to snap the photo and I was counting to three for Jac... when the cat came walking into frame... so instead of counting to three... it came out 1, 2, cat butt! Ü We all laughed so hard! Oh I wish I could have kept my composure to get the awesome smile on Jac's face... it was one of those had to be there moments!

We had many other funny things happen during our session besides the fact that these girls are just my style... not too serious and definitely fun to be around.

Without Further Ado... Miss Jacqulyn...

Congratulations, you've only got a couple months to go!

New photos of me!

Just recently I had a playdate with some photographers to learn some new tricks. After we were done playing a new friend, Karina, graciously took these photos of me. I really like them.

Photos were taken in Willow's studio... which I covet! Ü

Hope you are having a great day!

Trenton is TWO Cute!

Where to start with this post... the beginning seems like it would be fitting. Trenton's mommy Lisa and I met in preschool. Lisa and I went to elementary school together, played on the playground together, went to the fair together, sang karaoke to Madonna in her living room... I could go on and on...

We also attended Junior High and High School together but have lost touch since graduation. Thanks to the World Wide Web, Lisa and I reconnected through Facebook after almost 14 years! OMG... I can't believe we have been out of school 14 years.

Pause for recollecting my self... deep breath... When did 14 years go by? Seriously!

Anyway... so we reconnected through facebook and Lisa saw my photography just in time for Trenton's 2nd birthday photos! Tenten as he calls himself is such a joy. He tried to play coy and shy with me... but I could see his playful side.

I had an awesome time photographing Trenton and reconnecting with my friend Lisa. I am looking forward to many years of renewed friendship! And to watching Trenton grow and become a man... cause it does happen that fast.

Love that "Caught in the act" face!

Lisa & Trenton

This is a 10x20 Storyboard that I made of Trenton who loves to look out the window!

Doesn't this just make you feel peaceful?

Oh those lashes... love em. Why do little boys get all the great lashes?

Peek-a-boo Trenton's two!
Seriously 14 years... sheesh!
