Hallie - Best friend Extraordinaire

This sweet gal is best friends with Kaelyn. And she is graduating this year as well.

I am so glad that Hallie came to Kaelyn's session. Not only is she a gorgeous gal, but she also has some great talents. As soon as she arrived she pulled out her make up kit and spiced up her best friend's look for her senior portraits. Then she helped to loosen Kaelyn up and get her to give me some beautiful smiles.

Hallie and Kaelyn also have another friend named Caylin who was at the session. Unfortunately Caylin hasn't sent me a release form, so I can't post the absolutely fantastic photos of the three of them together. I hope she does because I think they all turned out so great!

Those three girls remind me of me and my two closest girlfriends in high school ~ Amy and Monika. I have some wonderful memories with my gal pals! Cherish these times girls... the world is about to change so much for you. It is exciting and wonderful. Remember to stay close to your friends, they will support you forever! Here is a blast from the past... me and my buds during our senior year of high school. Had to do a little digging to find this one! Ü Enjoy! But don't laugh too hard! Class of 95 baby! Oh crap... I just dated myself! LOL... I don't mind.

Call me today to book a girlfriend session. This could be a 2 year old play date or a girls night out having wine! Girlfriends make our lives so much fun and enrich us so much at EVERY age! The memories will make you smile forever.

Kaelyn - It's the quiet ones you gotta worry about!

A little bit about Kaelyn:

Kaelyn graduates this year! It's just around the corner!

She is very quiet until you get her around her girlfriends and then she is still kinda quiet but she starts to let her guard down. She has a beautiful smile that I just love!

Her favorite genre of movie is Comedy but Twilight comes in towards the top of the list!

If she could have a luncheon with any three people from any time period they would be? Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, and Heath Ledger

If given a choice to skip school for a day, she would spend the entire day? Snowboarding, something random or being adventurous.

Kaelyn's favorite hangout is anywhere she has her friends to entertain her!
I can vouch first hand that her friends are very entertaining! Ü Kaelyn had two friends Caylin and Hallie at her session. We had a lot of fun taking photos of all of them. Best of luck to you next year at college.

Washington Winter Wonderland

Happy 2009! For some reason the transition of writing the new year has been no problem for me this go round. I have not yet made the mistake of writing 2008. I think I am just ready for a wonderful year!
These photographs were taken on 12-21, the day that we had freezing rain after the snow. It was interesting crunching through the outer "crust" of snow through the inches to feet of snow. I absolutely loved our winter wonderland.
One of my favorite things about the snow we received was doing my Christmas shopping with my mom while it was snowing. It felt like I was in a movie or something. We so rarely get this kind of weather here, and I think the last time was before my memory can serve me.
I hope you enjoyed the snow! I would love to hear your favorite memory about the snowfall! The 7th person to post thier comment will get a starbucks gift card!
Looking forward to photographing you in 2009!

Newsletter on it's way!!!

I am so excited... I am working on a newsletter to keep in touch with everyone... it is in process.

I haven't decided yet if it will be monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly yet. (Do you have a preference? If you do, I would like to know!)

Expect a new blog post tomorrow! In the mean time a couple cute quotes I found regarding the new year:

Youth is when you're allowed to stay up late on New Year's Eve. Middle age is when you're forced to. ~Bill Vaughn

May all your troubles last as long as your New Year's resolutions. ~Joey Adams

Kaidyn ~ One Year

How is it possible that a year has passed so quickly. Miss Kaidyn and her mommy were on my baby plan. It has been so fun to watch her grow and getting to photograph her every 3 months. She is just so precious!
Thanks Tanna for sharing your beautiful little girl and allowing me to capture some fun memories!
