Oh Sweet Baby

Meet Kaidyn.

Kaidyn's new here.

Kaidyn enjoys spending time with her mommy & daddy, eating, sleeping and changing outfits.

She is beautiful!

My favorite feature of Kaidyn's is her spikey hair.

Kaidyn is super skilled in the art of snuggling.

Till Next time,

Angie

Wedding Assistant

Last weekend I assisted a photographer friend with a wedding. These are a few of the images I captured. I absolutely love them! What a beautiful bride... and her handsome husband in his uniform. I just adore weddings!

Crafty Friends and a wonderful weekend!

This past weekend I had the wonderful opportunity to check out a new scrapbook retreat location in Kent. The Scrapbook Cottage. It was beautiful. EXCELLENT. I recommend it highly. I went with a group of ladies I know through a yahoo group I belong to for scrapbooking. I have been involved with this group for years and years. Anyway... we had a great time and I can't wait to do it again! (And maybe next time I will get more scrapbooking done! Ü)

Only 1 more day in - The Cone of Shame

This is my cat Monte. Doesn't he look amused!!! Monte had an absess on his face that he had to have surgery on. The poor cat is used to going outside and has been stuck inside for about 5 weeks now. Friday is his day to get the cone off... Monday he gets to go outside as long as he hasn't done himself any harm. I feel so bad for this guy! Since I work from home he follows me around all day with this super pitiful look saying... please mom... please remove the cone of shame. Soon my good cat!

My Two Cameras

This camera is my "play" camera. The camera that I keep in my purse so that I remember to take photographs of my own life. Before I got this camera I stopped taking pictures because I didn't want to tote around my "big girl camera" as my husband affectionately calls it. This little camera is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a compact digital camera.
This Camera is my business camera. I love my Canon's! Ü This camera has been through a lot with me... I dropped it on the ground. (Well it did kind of throw a tantrum and demand to go into the shop after that) But it is a trooper... I love my camera... and I love taking photographs with it. I got this new lens a few months ago from a friend who is also a photographer. It is awesome!

I can't imagine life without a camera. I am so excited to be pursuing my passion of photography! So... when can I photograph you?

Picture Victory

Ok so this blog thing... really isn't that hard... I just have a way of making things harder than they are. So really the big problem is that I can't find any photographs of just me. Always behind the camera, never in front. I will be changing that soon though!

Oh well at least I was able to post that photo of my husband and I on our trip in Hawaii last year. A bit out of date but it is one of my favorite photos of a wonderful day.

Watch for more posts soon as I will be adding photos and attempting to post a photo a day for the entire year ... a challenge that a lot of my scrapbooking friends are doing as well.

I have had my camera out a lot recently... let's hope I took several over the last 8 days and just don't remember.

Ta Ta for now!

Family Photography

This December I was presented with the opportunity to give back to my community. A local Foster Care Program was having a holiday party and I volunteered to photograph the families at the party. These are kids of one of the employees, I loved how cute the shot of the three of them turned out! Due to privacy, I can't post any of the foster kids, but wanted to share what a neat experience this was. The kids involved in this program are living with some pretty tough circumstances that life has dealt them... I know I didn't save the world or anything but I hope I was able to capture a happy memory that they will be able to reflect back on when they are feeling down.
